Are you or do you want to be a 4-H officer?
Come on out to Officer Training on January 7 to learn the ins-and-outs of running a 4-H club meeting. The objective of the training is to provide a hands-on experience to empower youth in the 4-H Club setting to take active leadership roles in their elected position while enhancing life skill development such as leadership, decision making, problem solving and communication.
Additionally, through this training, youth officers will be better prepared to successfully navigate their officer position.
The training will involve Meeting Basics, Parliamentary Procedure, Mock Meeting and specific breakout sessions for all officer positions.
All 4-H participants are invited to attend and 4-H officers are strongly encouraged to attend.
