The Great American Cleanup

The Great American Cleanup / Pikes Peak Partners is hosting a community-wide cleanup event on Saturday, April 22, 2017The Great American Cleanup / Pikes Peak Partners include El Paso
County, City of Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs Utilities, City of Fountain, Keep Colorado Springs Beautiful, City of Manitou Springs, and the Town of Monument.

In 2016, over 700 volunteers collected 1,129 bags of refuse at local parks, trails, creeks, roads, and town centers.   We encourage civic organizations, churches, scout groups, school groups, 4-H clubs, and individuals to participate in 2017 as we give the Pikes Peak region a “spring cleaning”.

Site coordinators will host volunteer check-in sites beginning at 9 a.m. at over twenty locations around the Pikes Peak region.

Bags and safety vests will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves and water.  Youth under 16 must be supervised by an adult.
