CSU Extension El Paso County Advisory Council

The El Paso County Volunteer Program is a wonderful opportunity for citizens to learn about the various functions of county government as well as give back to the community.

The El Paso County Board of Commissioners is seeking community-minded citizen volunteers to serve on the CSU Extension Advisory Committee. Applications for the open positions are available online at: http://bcc.elpasoco.com/VolunteerBoards/Pages/default.aspx. For further information please call 719-520-6436.

The CSU Extension Advisory Committee promotes, advocates, and supports the local Extension programs and staff by developing and implementing a strong marketing strategy that results in educating community officials and providing information flow between county citizens and Extension.  Members  are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners for three-year terms:  two each representing Youth Development (4-H),  Family and Consumer Science, Home Horticulture, and Local Food Systems.

Advisory Council Meetings

Advisory meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month unless otherwise noted. Locations vary, but are typically at the Extension Office.

Keeping ahead of COVID-19
